The weather held reasonably well for me to nearly finish painting the front elevation and the walls and woodwork tomorrow should see the finish, pebbledash is hard work and it's been 6 years scince the last time I painted the front and I must admit it all seemed a lot harder this time. In another 5 years I think we will farm the work out to a younger model. A final clean up tomorrow and fit a new letter box kit should see it off. kkma

The weekend soon came and went starting on Friday evening with the arrival of Mrs and Mr D after some gentle persuasion with a handsome amount of giggly tonic and a fine repast we cackled into the early hours. On our rising and feesting on copious amounts of healthy stuff your face breakfast we set up a e-bay account what fun that was I am hopeless at IT and all that guff but Mr D soon made light work of it well what are Buddies for and before long I had a photo and all the description down on the sellers site and by the end of the day I had an enquiery. Saturday evening saw us attend a chums 50th Birthday but bafter a couple of hours we pulled the pin and went to see the "SPINNAKER TOWER" in Portsmouth all lit up and standing out like the dogs do-dahs its a fine sight and a good advert for Pompey we sat in the bay window of a well known pub and toasted the world in the shadow of the Tower. Thanks Mr and Mrs B2 for a great week end and roll on May weekend etc. kkma.

Well here we are again that time of the week where we all in some way or another let our hair sdown. Mr and Mrs B2 are traveling down to us from the frozen outback of West Sussex and we will embibe i am sure in a little liquid libation.
Tomorrow we have all been invited to a chums 50 birthday where no doubt a little more liquid will charm the tonsils, bloody hell better strap on a spare Renal unit.

Well we cracked it the Hollies tour finished for us in Canterbery and what a great week end it was, the fan club Convention went well and the lads were very patient with the fans. A few dates have been arranged for the summer, open air concerts in Clumber park Notts, and a few other places dotted around the country. A 12 date tour of Scotland and Ireland commences in 2 weeks time but we are unable to fit them in due to us Blitzing our lounge and dining rooms big time. A full tour of the UK will start again in the spring of 2007.MR and Mrs B2 are down for the weekend to celebrate a friends 50 Birthday looking forward to some CRAICK etc.
