Father Christmas will be arriving at 11am for the first show and again at 1300 I get to see him with my own peepers and yes he is very friendly. The Scat theatre group are performing The King of Cabbage Castle for 5 to 10 year olds and due to this years popular demand we will have 2 shows as I am the stage Manager and lights and props I will get to sit next to the magic box enclosure its the area laid apart for the children to sit in. The kids only have to be told once not to shift from the magic box area or Father Christmas will not arrive, you should see the faces and not a fidget in site, cant wait for him to arrive I am so excited ,still cant believe it. kkma.

Yes I did, after 5 hours of tiddler bashing on Sunday I came up trumps I managed to land 5lbs 5.5 oz of roach and 1 skimmer for a section placing and good points which rounded off my winter league, I must of had at least 120 small fish for that weight.

During the match my float was settled in the water for about 30 seconds and then would tremble and radiate circles from it and then stop, after about 3 or 4 attempts at striking and missing the bites I let it settle for a longer period then instead of striking I lifted into it slowly low and behold I could feel some resistance and slowly out of the water hanging on my hook was a Signal Crayfish with very large red claws.

These Cray fish were introduced some years ago into the country as through Aquarium shops to complement show tanks etc and they were such fast growing species that people could not manage them so they threw them into local ponds,canals rivers etc, the River authorities cannot cope and have let them overtake in some areas which have upset the natural balance of water life and killing off our natural crayfish and other small fish species. Mr B has a lot to answer for his Integration and immigration policies and that includes Effing Signal crayfish. Kkma.
